  • "I'd rather be flying, but this will do nicely"
For my 30th wedding anniversary, this past September my dear wifey gifted me this lovely/pricey coffee table book. I've thoroughly enjoyed it and thought at holiday time it would be fun to send it on as a thank you to a few who do a lot to make this site great and my experience in particular very fruitful.

So my idea is for it to float around the country by mail. Sign the flyleaf and pass it on after you have enjoyed it.  The pictures are spectacular.  The insites into BMW engineering methodologies  eludidating.

So Monday it's headed to metro Ridley Vermont, then onto a brick rider of his choice. then another and another.  I like the idea that the recipient has the opportunity to choose the next asylum member to thank.  My request is that you PM me when sent on and to whom, so if things stall I can provide postage whatever to keep it moving West.

I figure 10 to 14 days is plenty of time to enjoy it.  Your only cost of participation is postage:

Media Mail $4.90
Priority Mail $14.35

I will PayPal up media mail postage to anyone who requests it.

HO HO HO.  And in the end, not critical,- but I would enjoy getting it back with the flyleaf full of signatures like my high school class book.  And yes if you choose to forward to Europe or OZ, ok.

Enjoy.  Bricking is meaningful to me, and I hope this is a simple festive way of expressing the same and perhaps cultivating relationships in the process.

I'm a senior citizen and can't remember who the heck I sent it to.  I think it was somebody in Texas.

Texas, that's a foreign country.  Maybe Bon Von Jovi in New Mexico?

Let me know Texas.

Ok,

so the TX crickets spoke up...Flat Six best regarded as the painter king of all garaged beemerdom is shipping the community Beemer book to John in urban Livingston Montana a prince who not only funded my K11 clutch job but graced my birthday with the ONLY parcel to arrive that auspicious day, a pair of Onyx, gold-clad extended length OEM helmet tethers for my OEM low seat.  Thanks again for the gesture.

I nominate herseyb to the book queue followed by bon von con job von Jovi.  Or, Mr Day in New Mexico: of vaulted air and princely notions including the levitation of a K and digits as saw lumber.

Thanks for collaborations with minimal...Laitch... protestations.

ps:  I am 57 years young today.

Too much green in between. Appreciate the kind words. I don't know how you feel but my thoughts at this time are to keep that book out of the NYC.
Or I could wipe it off with Clorox or Roundup before shipping out.
Gray and gloomy in the NYC today
