That time of year again for chilly fingers or heated grips
« on: September 21, 2012, 04:52:51 PM »
Looking at Symtec with Heat-troller, does the alternator on the K100RS support it? or should I upgrade my alt to a 50? I suppose if I want CATZ and a Xenon bulb I should upgrade the alt anyway. Did I just answer my own question...:hmm:

I found an ad that says they draw 3 amps on high (heated grips). That's only 36 watts so should be OK by themselves.
When you add the other stuff you might be pushing it (literally!).

If you throw a 50 watt HID in the headlight you wouldn't need the 50 amper...
