ADJUSTABLE PARALEVER [ RAMSTRUT ]
« on: August 10, 2016, 05:45:42 AM »
Not sure where to post this ?

We [ RAM ] developed an adjustable paralever strut for our Oilhead Cafe Racer which has gone on to sell successfully Worldwide. Completely transforms the riding experience.

One of our customers asked if there was a model for the Paralever Kays ........................ there wasn't - but there is now !

Allows the lowering or raising of the rear end to assist with short leg syndrome, or to sharpen the steering [ as per Oilheads ]. Instantly adjustable on the bike to suit your riding preferrences.

Any interest ??

Unless I missed it, I don't see any info on the website. Pricing, tensile strength, ect.

The website is undergoing a long awaited revamp. Apologies.

Assuming this is the correct place to post, I'll get some info. up in the next couple of weeks.

RAM has been designing and manufacturing replica race and road cars for 35+ years and manufacturing a range of highly stressed components. Thane for your interested.

Posting it in the FS FT WTB Bikes~Parts~Gear section, or in the Questions~Reviews section with a description and solicitation of reviews would have been appropriate, but I guess it could be considered a Bikeless Project by the imaginative.

Personally, I think the new intention is for the site to emulate river-rafting without paddles, and it's kind of fun.

I DO have a Kay project - a Street fighter,  which is where the liaison with RAM to develop shox and other parts began.

Stuff I wanted for my own bike I was fortunate to be able to design and get my pal at RAM to manufacture. It's not a paralever model, so I can't take advantage of the Ramstrut!! I have to leave that for my "Scream" Oilhead Cafe Racer.

Why don't you prevail on your buds to pass out a couple of samples to the more skilled K paralever riders here for the purpose of review?

Our tame racer Ben Kingham [ 3 x B.E.A.R.S. Outright Champion ] with his K100 race bike has had one of the RAMLEVERs for evaluation for some time.

I'll get him to submit pix and testimonials when he comes back from a current vacation.
