Round abouts are showing up even in Minnesota now.  Some are having a hard time figuring them out.  They like to pretend like it's a four way stop and slow down to a crawl even when no one is coming.  Getting better though.

We even have roundabouts with traffic lights on one or more approaches, and some of those they only turn on the lights at peak times. The new weird one is traffic lights on highway on ramps, that continually cycle red, amber, green slowly allowing one car per lane at a time.

I saw these a lot in California. Nearly every on ramp had a light that would cycle automatically to regulate the stream of vehicles entering the expressway. Although it was somewhat bothersome, I imagine that I would prefer it to the mass chaos of every idiot trying to merge at the same time.  :nono

By the way, beautiful pictures Martin! Looks like great riding.

Jim went for my weekly meet up at the dump, and encountered the Enfield GT that  I mentioned  previously. I hope it doesn't stir you up too much.

Wild the only thing wrong with the lights on the ramp, is that they leave them on , when the traffic is only light. The ride that I posted only made me appreciate OZ more, as it would have been easy to include ten times as many photos. I don't normally really appreciate the scenery that I am riding through, but this time as I was trying to show what it is like around where I live. I rode with my eye's open and I came to the conclusion that I should be grateful for living here. I do admire  the photo's that you guys post of the US it  like OZ has beautiful and  diverse scenery. I think we often take things for granted.
Regards Martin.

Did you find out how much it cost to dump that Enfield, Martin?

Jim you should probably hand yourself in voluntarily, it will look better on the records. The jackets with the really long sleeves can be tied up so you don't trip over them. They're coming to take you away AH HA.

OMG!  Now I'm starting to wonder if I can get Historic Plates for it.  Definitely need to take a cold shower.

I better nip this in the bud before I sell the bricks and go Enfield/Ural.

Hey, do they still make Dnepr's?
