1988 K75S, Marrakesh Red, 84K miles

Sorry! $3,500

I copied the text from when I posted the sale to BMW MOA Marketplace, and it had a different place for price. I missed that entirely!

Rode it 1,500 miles round-trip to the rally in Springfield, ran perfect on Interstate and in the twisties. I've ridden it 30K miles, and it has never failed me. I have two bikes, thinking about a third, so something has to go to make room in the garage.
I have ridden the bike from Nacogdoches, TX round trip to the Top of the Rockies Rally (2,000 miles), round trip to the Barber Motorsports Museum (1,100 miles), and round trip to North Carolina (1,900 miles). The bike rides great on the interstate all day at 70-75 mph and does not use oil.
Reliably gets 40-42 MPG.
Bike is garaged when not on the road.
I have always used Dino oil in the engine (Castrol GTX 20W-50), transmission, and final drive (Valvoline 80W-90 gear oil), and Bosch oil filters.
Final Drive splines rebuilt by Bruno Sax of Bruno's Machine & Repair in Iron Bridge, Ontario, Canada a few years back. He lengthened the contact area of final drive splines and drive shaft, and added a grease reservoir in the drive shaft above the splines.
Final Drive splines greased at every rear tire change.
Engine splines lubed 25K ago, in great shape.
Spiegler steel-braided brake lines, front and rear.
Replaced OEM fuel injectors with Genuine Bosch 4-Hole Spray Fuel Injectors
Odyssey PC680 Battery
Center stand was showing wear on feet, has been reinforced by local welder, looks and works like new
Replaced the left & the right handlebar wiring harnesses (blinker switches, starter button).
Kisan signal minder: blinkers stay on medium brightness as running lights, have fast flash option, timed to turn off, has four-way flasher option
Replaced fan, works reliably, temperature light never comes on in the Texas heat
Speedometer/Odometer calibrated by Overseas Speedometer in Austin, TX - indicated speed matches speed on GPS.
Instrument cluster is later K100 version with vents that is in very good condition (much better than original 1988 version).
Starter recently cleaned, new brushes installed
Replaced fuel filter & installed ethanol-resistant vibration dampener (purchased from Bob's BMW)
Multivario tank bag
Red third-generation cases (round locks facing outboard and larger case), local body shop painted cases to match bike, locks re-keyed to match bike, rivets holding locks and tabs drilled out and replaced with new rivets.
Extra set of black 2nd gen side cases goes with bike.
22L top case keyed to match bike
Original BMW tail rack (mounted) & Givi Monokey tail rack
Corbin Canyon Dual Sport seat, black with red piping to match bike, mounted, extra Corbin seat (all black)
OEM windshield, painted black.
Throttle lock screw
Tool roll
Tire plug tools
Metal valve stems
Progressive rear shock
Front fork gaiters
Fuel rail cover
Clymer manual & owner's manual
Replaced hand grips with OEM hand grips a couple years ago.

Splendor like a Blood Moon night

No doubt cash is king

Or limerick?

There once was a very red bike,
That  didn’t have much not to like,
But without a price,
The sale was no dice,
So the bike  didn’t Live up to the hype.

We probably should stick with Haiku; it's a traditional currency for motorcycle purchase. If limericks are accepted we'll start getting sonnets,  tone poem sound files and who-knows-what-all.

there once was a bike on marketplace
the owner didn't have any more space

he made up an ad
which was just sad

forgot to ask for a price
so we decide the value of the merchandise

Feign would I kiss my Julia's dainty leg
Which is as white and hairless as an egg
And smooth as the fairing of an S
The price of which I am left but to guess.

So my haiku doesn't win the bike???

Crap!

But then, I really have no space in the garage for it anyway.

Well, I still consider your haiku worth at least 3500INR so don't despair.

I am quite sure I would regret it but I REALLY want to sit down with Laitch and TMG for a beer or Tequila or Scotch (my preferred poison) just to see what they're (you're) like in person.
