I've ridden it 30K miles, and it has never failed me. I have two bikes, thinking about a third, so something has to go to make room in the garage.
I have ridden the bike from Nacogdoches, TX round trip to the Top of the Rockies Rally (2,000 miles), round trip to the Barber Motorsports Museum (1,100 miles), and round trip to North Carolina (1,900 miles). The bike rides great on the interstate all day at 70-75 mph and does not use oil.
Reliably gets 40-42 MPG.
Bike is garaged when not on the road.
I have always used Dino oil in the engine (Castrol GTX 20W-50), transmission, and final drive (Valvoline 80W-90 gear oil), and Bosch oil filters.
Final Drive splines rebuilt by Bruno Sax of Bruno's Machine & Repair in Iron Bridge, Ontario, Canada a few years back. He lengthened the contact area of final drive splines and drive shaft, and added a grease reservoir in the drive shaft above the splines.
Final Drive splines greased at every rear tire change.
Engine splines lubed 25K ago, in great shape.
Spiegler steel-braided brake lines, front and rear.
