Anyone have any ideas or photos of how they've mounted up a cellphone for gps on their bike? Recommended brand?

Funnily enough I was playing around with the best place to put a mount on my 1991 K100RS yesterday. I am pretty happy with my final choice.
I am using Ram Mount. In case the pictures aren't quite clear I have it mounted on the left handle bar near the bottom of the curve before the handle bat mount point. This means the impact plate goes over the top of it ans nearly totally hides it. The ball mount is towards the front of the bike, just underneath the trip reset knob.
This is the mount I used

With this X-grip to hold my Samsung S7

**Update**
Well I was pretty happy! I just offered up the fairing and the phone fouls on full right lock - it kinda works if I put the phone sideways but maybe I have to fiddle a little more!
There is a mount that would probably work perfectly on the empty lhs mirror mount - I might end up having to get that instead
