Both in the tail section. I had to use a lithium battery to get the size down.

Thanks for the compliments everybody. Its hard to know when building if it you are creating an eyesore or not!
I'm also glad somebody noticed the removing of the tags as it was quite a drama. If anybody is considering cutting there tags off ensure you do not trim too close to the weld....like I did. I ended up with a small fuel leak through the seam which took two attempts to weld up and it would still drip about 1 drip every hour so I had to seal the tank with POR-15.
 The tail section is a stock one with quite a few fibreglass modifications to make look like it does now. I have now got a tail light etc which I an going to fit tomorrow and go for another ride :-).
I still have to finish tidying the wiring under the seat, I have removed the relay electrics box and got rid of any relays and wiring deemed to be unnecessary. Although everything seems to be working well, I want to make sure it is all OK for a few weeks before tidying up the remaining loose ends.

The front guard is the original cut down and coated with stick on imitation carbon fibre. Next winter I think I will use it as a mould and build a genuine carbon fibre one but for now it will do.... Summer is here and its time to ride not build!!

The rearsets are from a Aprilia RSV 1000, and the brake cylinder/pump is off a KTM 525. I just had to make a bracket to hang them off. They work really well and believe or not the gear change is smoother now than it was with the original directly fitting gear lever... I'm not sure why or how but I wont complain :clap:

Thanks for the email Nantucket _red. That is the right person but I had lost the details to pass on. He made contact with me promptly after I emailed him and was really good to deal with.
I will post a video in the weekend so you can hear the sound.  The slip on has a decibel reducer which I keep in to keep the noise level ok for my liking. It's still fairly loud when accelerating but is quiet enough when just cruising on open road. It sounds sweet higher revs! Originally I put a cheap reverse cone muffler on it and it sounded embarrassing - both loud and unsweet - like a corolla with the no exhaust system!
Yes the slip on came with a 2 inch inlet pipe which slides nicely onto the collector. The muffler is off a gsxr750.

Got wiring all sorted, number plate, lights and mirrors. If it ever stops raining I will ride into town and get her legal :-)
