FAG 6005-2RSR-C3 are available on Amazon for $2.40(!) each and are exact replacement for K75 front wheel bearings (you need two.) Also, all EBC front and rear brake rotors and pads for K75 are available on Amazon for good prices. Finally, FAG 320/28X available on Amazon for $44/ea, exact replacement for OEM k75 steering bearings. I've heard others say you can get this bearing even cheaper at auto parts stores with this same spec (320/28x), but I cannot vouch.

Those wheel bearings are limited to "10000rpm Maximum Rotational Speed" which works out to about 800mph on a 27" diameter K tire.  Might not be enough for some riders like Johnny.

Sorry new to the crew, it may take me some time to pick up on the humor. I assume you're joking? How do you tell the rotational rating of a bearing? As far I could tell looking at the old bearing and the new one they were pretty near identical (based on the markings on the bearing.) Did I miss something?

How do you tell the rotational rating of a bearing?
You video it in action, speeding it up until it explodes then you replay the video at a very slow rate counting the revs during the minute just before the explosion.

greetings...

thats why i put a line on my bearings in reflective ink... makes it easier to count the revolutions... dont have to slow the tape down as much...

anyhow... i switched to ceramic bearings... when i switched to 27" tiors...

Looking for a switch that'll drop into the switch pad on the handle bar. I have a K75s, looking to add some low amp LEDs. I have an extra slot for a switch. Doesn't have to be an oem number.

If you trim 4.5" off the short end of a Volvo 240 lower radiator hose, it fits the lower hose on a K perfectly. It's ever so slightly smaller in diameter than the factory hose, so it's MUCH easier to get through the crankshaft cover.

Also, it's $6 instead of almost $60.  https://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/4336/Engine-Coolant-Hose-Lower-270616/?gclid=CjwKCAiAoqXQBRA8EiwAIIOWsimr9SDC-0d7ixL8CyOrFS9t7V69_JmZaSR-ldxUaqpnce6MmTiUnRoC5hUQAvD_BwE

The problem with BMW hoses and other rubber stuff is that they were never able to rebuild the rubber factories bombed by the allies in WWII, and most of the meager German rubber output is dedicated to making B&D costumes for the German dungeon sex market.

Tyco Starter Relay Tyco V23232-A0001-X003

Shop around using this maker and part number. It can be found for less than half the OEM price.

Great find! Looks like they charge 12 dollar shipping fee. Here is what I found on Amazon. 9.55 plus free shipping if you are prime!

BMW Kbikes used switches that are standard sizes for marine use.  So, you should be able to locate compatible switches at a local marine shop.  The dimensions of the BMW / marine rocker switches are 1 3/8 by 13/16 (35 mm by 20 mm)

Examples of suitable switches are:
Carling Contura rocker switches (available from Eastern Beaver

I found a cheap set of switches on Banggood, a Chinese online retailer, that seem to be suitable but I can't say for sure.

In my fruitless search for better fuel economy I have decided to replace the coolant temp sensor. Bosch part is hardish to come by and it is expensive and we know from Martin's experience, the ali version is a no go. However many brands produce the same type coolant sensor, and I can attest, it works as it should (e.g. resistance readings are perfect, it fits perfectly, the connector is the right type and the bike runs with it just fine and switches on the fan, as it should)

The one, I have bought is the FAE 33090 so that is the one, I am sure, works.

Apparently all these are a direct replacement:

note... these have not been verified as alternative to oe... reader beware... if you have verified these are 100% or otherwise... poast up here...

It's more helpful to recommend based on personal experience rather than supposition.

Hence the reason, I mentioned the one, I used, so everyone knows, which one is working for sure. FAE is getting hard to come by too, so I just added the others, which MIGHT be working
