Hi
I'm back again, this time w/ a 1990 K75S that was professionally put into long term storage by Amol Precision, a former North Jersey BMW dealer.
Just resurrected and put back into service. Still catching up on maintenance, etc... aprox 4,600 miles.

And you e got me beat on miles/age. Mine is a 92 with 12,100.
-
why was it stored?
how did you find it?
and how much was the acquisition cost?
the rest of the story needed!

Original owner (wealthy) was relocated to Hawaii.
I have the original sales invoice when purchased new from the dealer.
Also have the stamped service book along with the detailed receipt for when Amol Precision (BMW dealer from that time) prepared the bike for long term climate controlled storage at a relatives house.
Bought it from a relative who had put it on Craigslist (of all places) and was not at all familiar w/ BMW's or K bikes.
Price? No more than others in the NY/NJ/Conn area.
All the books, all the keys, all the tools, BMW tire patch kit, BMW battery charger, and even a copy of the original sales brochure from 1990.
It's a keeper!
