Has anyone seen 3D files to print faring glove boxes?
« on: October 07, 2023, 09:01:06 PM »
Dear All:

My K75RT fairing glove boxes are breaking apart.  What terrible plastic BMW used!  Very brittle.

Anyone seen 3D print files for the RT fairing glove boxes?  BMW part numbers 46631453177 and 46631453178.

Or other ideas on fabricating suitable replacements.

BMW does not show them as being available like many parts for the older kbikes.

What is so terrible about the fact that the plastic has lasted over 30 years..... guaranteed you will not find anything made today that will last 30 years(Twinkies don't count...lol)

If you can get good measurements I can create SolidWorks drawings and .stl files (or other file types...I think ours uses 3dp).
