I just want to say that 2 days ago I read that one should by their tires locally so that you can check the manufacturing date to ensure you get fresh tires. Then I realized that there is a shelf life by taking Lee Parks ARC. Then I really thought, "oh shit, what did I just buy?" So they came in today and the first thing I did was look at the date code. one was 2413 and they other was 1713. whew and here I thought I was going to have to send them back because I was thinking that since they were so much cheaper they must be outdated. Maybe I just lucked out this time.

I buy tyres online, they are cheaper from one place, not because they are old, but the seller buys huge amounts, and he's based in France: even with free shipping to me in England, they are unbeatable on price, the rear Battlax I just got a month ago is 4313 and the front I bought a couple months ago is 4114, which says constant stock movement to me :2thumbup:
I wonder just how much this guy makes on each tyre? Bet its not much!
