Too bad it's white. :nono2:
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

I am convinced that there is something about a white bike that triggers cops.

I had a white K100RS and got two bullshit tickets with it in two years and about 8,000 miles.  I haven't a single ticket on my other bikes in nearly 60,000 miles.  Both stops on the white bike were by cops who were noticeably agitated.  One was for not clearing the lane fast enough for an unmarked Highway patrol car that was not showing lights(I was doing the speed limit) and the second was for "failure to decelerate promptly when approaching a school zone"(whatever that means).

White is a good color for RTs and LTs. People mistake you for a cop and get out of your way. 112350

Apparently, the trouble starts—according to Gryph—when cops mistake you for a cop then take their disappointment out on you.  :laughing1:

Never again with a white bike.  The Special Edition Blue and White is as white as I'll ever go.

12 hr one way drive for me, probably have to add another 9 hours for you. I'd def take a look if it was closer.

Is it running?  You can always do a fly-n-ride. I once purchased a K1100 in Concorde, NC and rode it 3,737 miles home to Seattle. (I took the "long way" to get in some good riding as I crossed the country.)
