1991 K1 & 1992 K100RS -

Good evening everybody.

As s previous owner of both a K100RS and a K1200RS i had a small brake from the K bike and bought a 2016 R1200RS. This was a good bike, but i found out it was to much money invested, and i wanted to do service and maintanance myself.

The bike was sold, and i started to look for a older bike. After one week a nice black 1992 K100RS one owner bike came out in my hometown. Only 55.000km and all papers with tank bag and tragkorbs + city bags. The bike is a US model, bought by the owner while working there and took it home to Norway after some years.

The only problem was the bike had been sitting for some years, and needed a full service before startup. All fluids was changed, a new battery fitted, the tank had a small hole on the left seam that i welded and the gas pump was stuck. After changing the pump, hoses and gas filter, the bike started perfect. Running really nice. No leaks and valve clearence was ok.

The bike is my everyday bike and it is so good. I dont miss the R1200RS at all. So happy to be back with the old K's.

Since i got the K100 running for 10% of the R1200RS money, i still got a lot of money to spend (not often a problem for me) so when a nice K1 with only 27.000km came out, i could not resist to buy it. It was complete with tankbag and the original softbag.

So now i am the happy owner of two classic black 670 K bikes.

Welcome, you have splendid looking bricks. Whatever you're doing, continue, as it seems to be working out very well. :)
sidebar: do you rock climb? The Troll Towers are spectacular ... as well as, a bit unstable.
