Then you have the version which Billday explained....did read about that the threaded pipes was welded
....but that was gryph........Sorry Billday, I was mixing things up.

The version you have did have a cutout in the threaded pipe and different weights when heated grips was mounted.

Unfortunately, heated grips with bar ends are NLA. So, I will no longer have bar ends.

Yes, the set is NLA, but you can still buy all of it as single parts......but it gonna be a lot more expensive than
the version w/o bar end weights.

I read that the 3 cylinder engine is more balanced  than the 4 banger, so the bar ends are not needed. Hope is that the case. If  you have any experience, I would be interested.

Nothing says you can't install them.

The heated grips that came with the kit I bought are closed at the ends. So, they are gone. Not a big deal.

Hi to all:
wanted to give you an update of the job: installing heated grips and hand guards.

Parts that I bought:
Heated grip kit: PN 61 31 2 300 383. All instructions and wiring/switch for installation came in the box. 317$ from BMW of Chattanooga. Max BMW wanted over 500$.
Left and right hand guards: PN 32 71 2 315 711/712. 46.30$ at the local dealer. Perfect fit for the 75S
Brake reservoir cover: PN 71 60 2 315 713. 11.22$, also local dealer. Perfect fit as well.

The installation would have been much faster if I had realized that the handlebar was predrilled already for the kit. In any case, it took a few hours, and allowed me to learn a little about the machine while removing and installing the handlebar for no good reason.

A few pictures below to complement the posting. I believe the thing looks OK, and hopefully will make spring riding more comfortable.

Also, if anyone wants a scan of the installation instructions, please pm.

Hope this info is useful.
