WTB: Skinny Guy Pants
« on: July 17, 2014, 09:49:04 AM »
I'm looking for some 3-4 season quality used gear--specifically pants. I already have a jacket, helmet and gloves. Looking for good fit, high quality materials (abrasion resistance, armor that stays in place), adequate venting, warm when layered, as close to year round wear as possible (I know it's impossible).

Maybe someone out there can use a little cash for the pants gathering dust in the corner. Budget is about $250 max.

Here's all the sizing information I have so far. Aerostich provided fit info for me and I have tried some of the BMW stuff so I know how some of that stuff fits. Other brands, I'm not so sure about other than most things are too short, wide and baggy for me (Firstgear, etc). If your measurements are in the ball park and you have something to get rid of, let me know--thanks!

6'2" 168-173lbs

Chest: 39"-40"
Sleeve: 35"
Waist: 33"-34"
Hips: 40"
Inseam: 33"

Aerostich:
Darien jacket: 40
Darien pants: 34l
Road Crafter jacket: 40l
Road Crafter pants: 40l

BMW: 40l or 42l
Euro: 98 or 102 (tall sizes)

Revzilla is on my list of things to do. I just need to find a Saturday free enough to make it down there.

The Motoport stuff looks great but I can't justify spending $450+ on a pair of pants with the amount of riding I am doing now. If I were spending a ton of time on the bike, I'd definitely consider their gear. It looks like some of the best stuff out there.

I've had good luck finding quality used stuff but it does seem to take a while and it's always a risk with the fit...

I have been digging the TourMaster paints.  Most come in 3 lengths.  Happy with the fit and quality.
