For a 1985 K100RT, the flexible brake line coming out of the rear master cylinder has a new part replacement that is 95mm (3.74 inches) longer than the original. Would you please help me with routing options?
Original part number:34 32 1 450 555 BRAKE HOSE - L=275MM (to 12/91)
Replacement part number:34 32 2 310 962 BRAKE HOSE - L=370MM (from 12/91)
This is from Max's page:
http://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=51754&rnd=07242017 As I was rebuilding the rear master cylinder, I thought I had the wrong part number, since the replacement was so much longer than the original. My old one wasn't leaking. I just thought it would be smart to replace a 34 year old brake line. :-o
I'm concerned about ground clearance for this extra length.
