Photos of A (K75) Luftmeister Exhaust
« on: October 26, 2024, 05:14:49 PM »
Hello. As the subject line reads, does anyone have a photo of a K75 LM exhaust? The bracket on mine was moved(?) by the previous owner as the bracket does not seem to line up with the exhaust hanger on the bike. I do not know how they managed to fit it on the bike when before I got it, but after I took it off for a stock exhaust I have not been able to figure out how to mount it back on - it somehow simply does not fit.

Note - I am looking for photos of the black shrouded cylindrical variant. Like this one: https://s.turbifycdn.com/aah/yhst-15102260216258/k75-luftmeister-full-exhaust-system-21.jpg

I see the bracket on that one but it appears far further forward than the one on mine - did they just... wing it?

Let me try and find a picture of it -  I am not at home. I have whipped up a visual aid in case I cant find a photo.

The red bracket is the one that is on my version, the blue dotted one is the bracket I have seen on the few photos online of the thing.

Edit: Here is a photo I found of it mounted to the bike.

this was my old Lufty slip-on, on the floor. Probably not what you're looking for but I dug up the file and I'm going to post it, dammit!

Looks very different from a K100 LM exhaust.

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.
