Eggs, milk and bread.  Why is it that everyone needs to eat French Toast during a snow storm???

Buffalo's beloved past mayor, Hizzonor Jimmy Griffin, gave us advice for the ages on how to survive 3 feet of lake effect snow.

"Get a six pack and relax, it'll be over in a couple days!"

They've been been hyping up ice/snow storm here in Ohio for the last week.  Panic buying gone crazy.  Sucks that people on social security just got their checks (1st of month) only to find stampedes and bare shelves at the stores.  Didn't it used to be we sort of expected winter weather in winter and it was no big deal?

I'd buy briquettes and carrots.

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Yeah!  And such behaviour in Ohio, the weather funnel for the Eastern Seaboard, you'd think people would be used to it.

Yesterday (2/2/22) by 7:00 AM - before a single drop/speck/flake of precipitation had fallen - the IL Governor had made a disaster proclamation and activated part of the IL Nat'l Guard to assist ISP with stranded motorists. I blame it on the TV weather folks hyping things up for ratings.

Video taken by a foreign tourist of crews working to open the parking lot at the Walmart Supercenter in Berea, Ohio. The toilet paper delivery truck can be seen in the distance.
