tool?

today i removed the throttle bodies from my k1oo and it says in ye old manual that the inlet rubber clamps are not re usable and that you have to break them to get them off and replace with new, it says i need a "special BMW " tool to do this, so. what is this special tool?

Those are called Oetiker clamps or ear clamps. Oetiker makes a tool for them but a cut across the clamp buckle with an end cutter or diagonal cutter should do the job. If the cutter has long handles, that helps.  Watch the following video until 2:22 and all will be revealed.
Oetiker clamps can be replaced by screw-type clamps. Be certain that the screw assemblies don't interfere with the full movement of the cam to which the throttle cable is mounted.

Beware the replacement screw type clamps need to be much more narrow that the ones you find at most hardware stores, those are too wide and don't seat/seal correctly.  I can't remember exactly where I ordered new ones, it was either dime city cycles or Z1 enterprises or euro motoelectrics - it was one of those, sorry it's been a bit since I ordered them. 5/16" wide

If you put the screws on the back it looks cleaner.
