Service parts sources?

One of the things I'll be doing as soon as I get my K100RS home is to do routine maintenance - oils, filters, etc. May be a loaded question, but where do you all get your parts and supplies for routine maintenance in the US? Max BMW seems to be the predominant place I used to get parts for my airheads from Bob's BMW IIRC. Also, Razee's in North Kingstown, RI is local to me. Any recommendations or places to avoid?

I was happy with the prices for fuel pump from this site. I didn’t keep the bike long enough for a long range test but it seemed to work fine.

I get all my new OEM parts from MaxBMW.  Their website parts department makes ordering super easy, they ship fairly quickly, and get parts from the factory fast because of the volume they do.  They don't charge for shipping or sales tax, and did I Mention the M&M's?

Speaking of brake pads, are there any upgraded compounds for the pads that improve stopping power? Fer instance, on my VAG cars I usually use EBC Green Stuff or Yellow Stuff pads in the front. Rears don't matter as much on cars so I just use ceramic pads there.

With the Speigler stainless brake lines, I can trigger the ABS on my bikes with eBay Generic Organic Kevlar pads.  I can even do it on long downhills.

You can get sintered EBC pads but they'll wear your rotors more quickly.
