The bike came the the original comfort windshield, the one with adjustable side flaps. Any idea if I can get replacements for the black plastic connectors?
Mine are cracked and broken.

If you're referring to #12 in the diagram below from MaxBMW, Max indicate they might have a source for one of the sides. You could give them a call on Monday. They're costly. Fabricating them yourself is an option.

Are you talking about the black plastic hinges that the side flaps are attached with?  The MaxBMW parts list doesn't show them anymore.  They seem to have been replaced with pricey clear plastic parts.

They cost almost $35 each and there are four of each used.  If it were my bike, I would be looking for a used windshield from somebody who is hacking up an RT to build a cafe.  They do show up from time to time on eBay.

Your ride probably came with the BMW rider's handbook but if it didn't, you can get one and also a service manual at this Motobrick link.

Regarding those comfort windshield side flaps:  I have been riding my RT for 8 years and 50K miles and have found that those flaps have pretty much no effect on the air flow to the rider behind the shield.  About all they do is keep my shoulders sorta dry in the rain.  The hinges are not worth the $300 that a set of four would cost.

As I mentioned above, they do show up on eBay with complete windshields, but that requires waiting for and buying the complete windshield when they do show up.  This can cost upwards of $150 when shipping is included.

As a temporary fix that you might find quite usable you could get a piece of black ABS thermoforming sheet about 1/8" thick and cut pieces 3/4" x 2 1/2".

Drill two 4mm holes 1 15/16" apart.  Make two pieces for each hinge you want to replace.  Use the pieces to hold the flap in place with 4mm machine screws.  Sure, the flaps won't be adjustable, but you don't really need them to move.  I am pretty sure that with an hour or so of labor and 10 bucks you could have a very usable solution.

I had those flaps on my K75RT and really liked them.  In hot weather I could flip them forward and they gave much improved air flow to the rider.

I don't have a close-up by my K75RT's windscreen had a big flap on each side. They looked dorky when flipped to the front but really helped keep me cool in hot weather.

Yep, same as mine.  Maybe the air is different where you ride.

Thanks for the guidance. I would like to keep the bike stock and I think the flaps will help giving some needed air flow on the hot summer days. Seems the like the RT holds the heat.

It's why I do my touring in October.  Sometimes A little extra heat is welcome.
