the goal was to accept galley uploads and attachments at 3mb and lower with some new photo magic that will speed up the forum while reducing bandwidth and space load... almost there... its bouncing around... just wanna keep you moes informed... /color]

this is where we unwhack the whack... so here we are... the motobrick.com gallery aka the brickbucket aka the bullybucket...
you can upload your photos to your private gallery and use the bbc img code to post at motobrick.com and acrosst the web... we just ask that you limit your uploads to photos that you are gonna post at a minimum here at the worlds famous motobrick.com... of course you can use the same bbc img code to post at k100 and the og and the adv and so on...
im gonna give you the easy way to set up your gallery and commence to uploading and posting... there are lotts of options as it pertains to how you set up your gallery name and categories and subcategories... private or public and so on and so on... you can go fancy or you can go minimalist... your choice... however we would like you to check the private gallery box when saving your category to slow the drain on our resources...

7) in order to upload photos you must create a catagory to your gallery... click add category...

8) enter category name in title box... click add category... i chose the bullyed... butts it could be < username motobricker > gallery title 2017 > catagory 89k100rs project >... you getts the idear...

11a) in order to upload photos you must create a title for you photo... i chose theworldsmostbullyed... it can be anything you want...
11b.) click chose file... go grab the photo you want in there from your phone or computer...
11c) once you have the image path in there... click add photo...

23) if you gotts lotts of photos to upload you can bulk upload them... itsa drag or click... your choice...

24) i bulk uploaded the photos to make this post... there is a status bar... when done it pings you with a checkmark... there is a bulk upload limit of 20 photos per effort... also the limit for bbc code photos in a single post is 20 and 1000 for a single thread...

i would like to demonstrate my loyalty to mystic red for putting forward the effort required to maintain the worlds number 1 motobricking site on the internet by going back in time and revisiting my posts to load my photobucket photos into my motorbick galleries and swapping them out to preserve my contributions for ever...
once you getts your gallery and categories set... its easy to open your old photobucket photos... save them... and upload them here... then all you gotts to do is modify your posts with the new path between the existing bbc img codes...

in addition to the gallery... we gotts a new photo attacher installed... its simple...
gonna work out kinks... butts for now you upload attachments like before... butts now you can insert them where you locate your flashing cursor in the post... you can also click modify old posts and insert the attachment in there that are already below the post and they will be there for ever...
will take some dillergence by everybody to getts the old attachments displayed... butts it can happen...
behind the scenes resizer is not automatic... you are gonna have to prune them down to less than 1mb befor uploading them......

This also skips the step of having to add a title.
Makes it a v ery fast and very slick gallery
I also uploaded 10 photos at once using the Bulk Add Pictures and it took only a few seconds to complete the process.

have discovered it is very fast for single photo uploads to bypass the title step and just use the bulk add pictures button for singles and multi uploads...

new software being twerked... as of today the photos gallery uploads and attachment uploads will take everything you gotts below 3 megabytes per photo and attachment... keep them at 2.9m and below and you should be golden... for those photos and attachments above 3mb... you gotts to resize them... i gotts my phone camera set at 3mb and my digicam set at 3mb... thats the easy way to do it if you are taking photos with your phone and digicam...

the auto resize on attachments inserted into posts is next on the list...
the way the auto resize on upload to the gallery works is... magic...
take this photo... its 9.23mb...

I . . . tried testing different forums and get [ Invalid Attachment ] message for any photo I try to upload.If you were getting [Invalid Attachment] for each photo in Preview, consider that text as a placeholder. When you post them, they should appear. PM me if they don't and we'll post them a different faith-based way. :laughing4-giggles:
