Hello from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
« on: March 17, 2024, 11:07:12 AM »
Hi folks, and thanks for the add. I've just bought my first K-bike - a 1992 K75S. It joins my other paragon of reliability, a 1999 Suzuki Bandit 1200. I look forward to learning about this bike and wrenching on it. It's like nothing I've owned before.

Hey and welcome! Great bike, you'll love it. . .

If by any chance you run across a colour matching fuel tank, and decide to get rid of the one you have, keep me in mind. My tank, same colour as yours, has a small dent. It irritates my desire for perfection, but not enough for me to spend huge buck$ to fix.

Now that you own a Brick, you'll see them everywhere! Actually while that does happen to me in regards to other purchases like my Toyota pickup truck, it has not happened with Bricks. buy your experience with that might differ.

There is a lot of assistance on this forum regarding maintenance and repair of your bike.

Thanks for the welcome and the helpful links. My nature is such that I want to research the hell out of everything... I have a T-shirt that reads, HOLD ON WHILE I OVERTHINK THIS. So I have already found lots of stuff to read about and I will add this to my list! And I do like to do my own maintenance and repairs where possible.

I'm sorta liking that red tank on a black bike.  Looks like the metallic red that was on my '87 that faded to orange.
