Looks good - how long to polish the tank?

It wasn't too bad, once I figured out the right method and used the right tools. The thing is that there are no shortcuts, you have to do it in steps. I also didn't want to go crazy and do too good of a job. The goal was to make it look polished aluminum and not get a mirror finish, which would be hard to maintain, and the tank isn't perfect to begin with...

To be honest I couldn't tell you how long it took exactly... maybe a day? It could be done much faster now that I know how to go about it though.

Do you have an invisible battery?

Nope, but it's hard to see. It's black and held down by a black rubber band which you can see behind the ABS pump. You can also make out the terminal just on the bottom of the triangle. It's very stealthy.

The seat pan is aluminum and it is cut to a profile to suit the frame. It is held in place by tabs on the front and screws in the back. The upholstery is glued to the pan.

Great looking bike.
What battery did you use as it doesn't look like a stock battery?

No it's a smaller sealed AGM battery, that is laid on it's side.

thanks 3ddesigns ,
also what cca was it,
as i have a 75 with abs and want to reduce my battery's physical size but not run the risk of not having enough power to run it/start it etc.

It's a 260cca 12AH battery. The dimensions are about 6x3.5x5.75

That's cool, but an invisible battery would have been really cool.
