K75C Downunder
« on: September 21, 2023, 05:39:53 AM »
G'day,

I've taken delivery of a 1985 K75C in the last few days. It's unregistered and needs a new battery, but hopefully I should be able to get it on the road soon.

I've been riding Airhead BMWs since 1985 and regularly ride my two R65LSs. I've always liked the K75, and this one came up locally (country NSW), unmodified, at a good price.

I haven't put a spanner on it yet. I do the maintenance on the airheads, I had to learn when I was a poor student and now it is straightforward. The modern K engine is a somewhat daunting challenge.
