Replacing the lunchbox
« on: January 26, 2022, 02:35:46 PM »
Hi everyone,
I just came across this French company full of really cool stuff for our K bikes.
Has anyone of you replaced the lunchbox with a modern system?
Here’s what they have: https://rideandcustom.fr/compteur/559-1530-tenet-pack-cafe-racer-option-rfid-315-bluetooth.html#/70-tenet-basique
And I am really tempted. Some of these options come with BT connection to your phones and have antitheft system…etc
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thank you:-)

Put the word Tenet in the box at this site and click Search. https://www.motobrick.com/index.php?action=search2
There is an excellent installation video on YouTube, also.

I replaced with a combo Motogadget Motoscope Pro, Breakout Box B and a BEP 3.0.  I've used the Mo.lock as well for RFID ignition switch.  I didn't know about this unit that you are suggesting though.  Cheaper and looks to provide all the same functionality.  It is kind of a pain to install the BEP 3.0 under the gas tank and even harder to weatherize it properly.  Also needed to add a relay to provide the warning summary / error input to the Motoscope Pro.
