finally got around to making my spline ridge reservation. looking forward to the ride.

now i'm just curious about who is riding out of the Chicago area on that Friday night. (I'll probably be hitting the road around 5pmish. between 3&4 hour ride if all goes well, though i'm not yet including space for some dinner. we'll see how it shakes out.)

If things work out that I can make it, I still unfortunately can't stay overnight anywhere. Thanks for doing the leg work (or keyboard work) Johnny, it sure makes things easy.

It'll take me most of the day to get to the dodgeville area on Friday. Should we pick a spot to meet or just communicate here as the time / day draws closer?

Just booked the Spline for that Sat night 7/13 with Mike.

 I'm all set.

Mike says more rooms are being held, but it makes it easier for them if the people who want a room reserve the room. Just helps with their planning.

I'd rather be riding.

Mind if we join in?  :riding:

Looks like the wife and I should be available that weekend and we love the roads in that area.
We would join you all at the Super 8 and ride with you Saturday.

As for Dodgeville, we would stay at the Don Q, because we always stay at the Don Q, because it is just one hell of a good time....(and the wife really, really likes it).
And then we would probably head out on our own Sunday to come home...

Just met racinrich the other day, and it would be fun to meet a few more of ya...

Jo.  There's a real good campground near richland center.  Just northish of dodgeville.  Called Alina springs campground.  If you want to camp in that general area they're worth a call.

greetings chooter...

im commented to hoteling this year for me personally... saturday night we need to brainstorm to make this an annual deal which should include a hotel and a camp option... preferably at the same place... cause some are 2 up and its tough hauling camp gear while 2 up...

im thinking the la crosse area + the mindoro cut next year... we will figger it out...

Roger that. Put that campground in your pipe for later. Super great place. You can rent campers (pop up and other) there as well.

I may be able to make it,  but with my evil employer I never know if I will have the time off.  Too risky to make reservations.  But If I have the time off I am in.    I may just have to sleep in Super 4 dog motel, on the wrong side of the Mississippi.  But the route looks awesome.

Is anybody heading west to the Salem, OR rally after MotoDebauchery?

Is the rally worth a ride?

I am not headed to the MOA national rally, but it is kinda on your way.

They are frickin huge! If ya never been, go at least once. Lots ta see. Not HD in Milwaukee, WI huge, but biggish.

The MOA national is where everyone wants ta go and talk about riding.

The talk is better as the good roads get choked with too many bikes!

I'd rather be riding.
