Hello everyone. I am restoring 1990 K75 RT and realize lifting the frame off to access the throttle assembly will make things a lot easier. Although I found a good video online showing the removal process being quite easy, my bike has ABS.
That seems to be a game changer as far as easy goes.
Anyone has advice on getting this done without causing problems.
Otherwise how do you remove the intake manifold/throttle assembly?
Thanx for your help and I wish you all a great 2022!

No need to touch the frame to remove the TBs. just clip off the Oetiker clamps from the lower TB bushings (i.e. the rubber bits joining the TB assembly to the engine block) and then pivot the TB assembly outwards. Theres enough clearance to just get the air box past the frame.

It worked! Thank you for that! I was scared to just pull on it initially thinking I had to lift the frame…anyway, glad it’s done. I can now keep moving forward:-)
Thanx again and Happy New Year🥳

Great!
Installation is the reverse of removal. Just pivot it back in place. Purchase suitable band clamps to go in place of the previous Oetiker clamps. This post (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=13359.msg119093#msg119093)gives the correct Suzuki band clamp part numbers to purchase.
Gott Nytt Ar.
