I wasn't saying they were, just wondering as they're still bricks, if they were welcome.

They don't treat me any different ... and while there may be the "perception" that the K12s are not better, there is no question they are WAY faster ... even in the ugly "unfortunate" green color.  :neener:

As long as you don't own a Miata too.....
Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

Hey Awfers,  Fine by me if you want to join.  Do you know about this K site: http://www.k-bikes.com/forums/cmps_index.php?
When I first bought my '90 KLT, I lurked there and found there's much more information on the newer K's....so I joined this one.  There's probably a lot more pertinent sharing of info. about your bike at that other site. There's k's and there's K's and of course, there's Special K's.   Just sayin....

Yes, this site is focused on what are commonly referred to as "Classic Ks" - which includes K75s, K100s, K1s and K1100s.

I ran into a gaggle of Miata's going up Lolo Pass once on my K75.  Going that slow would put me to sleep.  Luckly US-12 has lots of ~quarter-mile strait stretches for passin'.   :2thumbup:

Or oceans.  Like Hwy 1 along the California coast.

Or are cut into hillsides and following the terrain.....

No, we don't want to hear about your massive HP and awesome good looks (at least with the taxicab version)

There's usually a one oilhead limit but in your case we'll make an exception.

Also check www.i-bmw.com for newer model info.  I frequent most of the K bike sites, but i-bmw is actually worth participating in.

I hang out here more for entertainment (with JO here, how can it NOT be entertaining) and the occasional ability to give input.  These guys also do know their stuff about the classics.
