Title: WTB: K 1100 RS / K 100 RS front indicator (flasher) lenses

Hello everybody,

I got a new bike - K 1100 RS - but it's missing indicator (flasher) lenses at both left and right mirror casing (BMW parts nos. 46631453001 and 46631453002).

Can anyone help? I tried UK Motorworks, but they have none.

Have you searched the site?  This is a well documented issue.

Yep - nothing to be found. In the shops neither - BMW did not deliver any for over a year  :mbird

WOW, so pair of lenses costing 1/2 of what I paid for the whole bike?

Well it is the lesson of supply and demand.  Probably one of the reasons the previous owner parted with the bike.  So sad that such a serious design flaw exists.

There may not be many more sets out in the market for sale.

JO a better business model might be a rental opportunity so the bikes can pass safety inspections, and afterwards they can use plastic tape. 

Rental would require a very substantial deposit, due to potential damage or failure to return.

When I finally find these, I am going to use them to make a mould and produce copies from polyester resin. THAT is a good business model  :2thumbup:
