Test rode one at the LBS, and came away with a "neat bike, typical Honda. Runs well, nothing exciting, and bereft of personality...but it'll probably run carefree forever." Heavy, but not hard to ride slow.

A good friend had one that he put nearly 200,000 miles on.  Was the second choice when I got my first brick.  I have too much invested in K-bikes to consider one now.

Stopped at my local bank branch today and thought of this thread.  ST was my only choice when a pal called saying his neck was sore every time he rode and would I consider his brick?  I timed my exit well and struck up a conversation though I restrained myself from asking : So is it “bereft of character”?  From his descriptions he requires bland.  Nice chap though.  Interesting how many similar interests we share.

Like breasts Motos can all perform their intended function-some though, are so very elegant...This is season 4 in the asylum and can’t help but say how lovely I find this shape.  A few extra pics of today around the chee.

The moto as teat. That's an avant-garde conceptualization too difficult for me to get my legs around. :-)

Here's mine.  Typical Honda, with the slickest gearbox I've ever put a boot to, fast for a road bike, perfectly carburated, very good brakes and suspension in stock form.  Fairing allows for a lot of buffeting and the bars are too low for my liking on long rides.  Worst attribute is that it's god awful heavy, around 750# and top heavy to boot.  Once out on the open road it will happily lope along at near 100 MPH for a tank of gas if you have the room.   In short, a very competent motorcycle, but I like the k75 much more, it fits me perfectly, is very comfy, and feels like a light weight in comparison.  The Honda is still a good buy used, i paid $2500.00 with only 14K on the clock.
