Hello from Cape Town, enjoying a 1990 K1
« on: March 30, 2016, 03:19:47 PM »
Hi

Back on the road again after 25 years, got lucky and found a 1990 K1. It shared the garage with 1982 R100CS.

Cape Town is a stunning place to live and ride a bike.

Welcome, 2be!
Check the Bike~Parts~Gear section if you need K1 body parts. It's a good place to find spares right now.

Thanks, all good at the moment bar the high beam blue light.

May be looking for the soft tragkorbs and tank bag later, but still will see if I am going to do overnighters with her, think the airhead with its giant tragkorbs will be used for that.

Definitely not, she with the exception of the paint job, she is fully original, will probable restore her to the original paint scheme as well.

Made for riding :-)
