Just picked up a 87 k100rt. I will be stripping it down to the bare riding essentials, that is the style I enjoy the most.
My first brick,and street bike, was a 88 kid. I drove it around the United States when I was 24. I put 20,000 miles on it in 6 months. It was such a nice bike. Now on to the new one, The previous owner pulled out the fuel pump and fuel level sender because it sat for a long time. He received it as a trade and rode it for about 200 miles before getting in over his head in the project. I will test the pump, replace the corroded parts and see how it goes.
