Back on a brick
« on: August 19, 2020, 01:13:47 PM »
Just picked up a 87 k100rt. I will be stripping it down to the bare riding essentials, that is the style I enjoy the most.
My first brick, and street bike, was a 88 kid. I drove it around the United States when I was 24. I put 20,000 miles on it in 6 months. It was such a nice bike. Now on to the new one, The previous owner pulled out the fuel pump and fuel level sender because it sat for a long time. He received it as a trade and rode it for about 200 miles before getting in over his head in the project. I will test the pump, replace the corroded parts and see how it goes.

Welcome
Isn't Waynesville NC the site of the 2020 2021 RA Rally?
Although I usually hang out at the Airhead tent I may be on one of my K75s for the trip next May.
