Title: K100 swing arm swap
Post by: Bupton on April 07, 2021, 10:31:38 AM
Hello guys, after successfully fitting a GS spoked front wheel to my K100LT it has become apparent I can't fit asked GS wheel to the rear. All videos I've seen have fitted a spoked wheel to the rear of a K1100 because it has a paralever swing arm. My K100 has a rigid swing arm. So does anyone know if a K1100 paralever swing arm will fit my K100?
Any help would be very helpful so thanks in advance. Will post front wheel photos,
Bupton

You've listed you own a K1100 in your signature, Bupton. To avoid confusing respondents, you should change that because your opening post indicates you own an '87 K100.

Both K100 2V and K75 have been converted to paralever drives by members of this site. A paralever drive has a cast extension of its housing (red arrow) to which is attached a strut assembly (green arrow) that also attaches to a bracket on the transmission (white arrow) of moto's manufactured with this drive.
