rolling up the  ca 89 from i 80 near truckee ca... balloon racers next weekend... some folks must have been out dialing in their chassis...



m o was freezing even though she had her electrics on high... so we stopped at sierraville to warm up and got lured into the round up cafe...

then we head down the 49... we have ridden the 49 from oakhurst to placerville... but its the northern spur we rode today...

wow... yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... wow...





kamikaze squirrel didnt make it...

we rolled around downieville and kept rolling...











we turned on marysville rd... checked out old mining equipment at the ranger station...







i have a wardrobe malfunction... zipper blew up... but m o got on her knees and zip tied me up...





mission accomplished...



bullards bar... the water was green like fine jade...







we found 3 donkeys on loma roca rd...

lotts o olive oil trees in these parts...



oroville lake... amazing low... kinda freaky...





















rolling the 70 from oroville to quincy... i read the threads on the tar snakes... interesting... but ripping scenic...
