IMHO, the factory design tank bag on ‘93 K1100RS is about as nice as it gets. Works, gets out of the way, stays in place, doesn’t damage the paint....... not a bad piece! Too bad they get old and fall apart! (Kinda like me I guess!) It seems like there would be buyers for an aftermarket product of the same design. Has there ever been any replacement offered ? How about a bag repair/rebuild Vendor? That could be a good cottage industry for a retired luggage maker!

So far the only thing I have had go bad on mine is the elastic.
That's easy enough to replace.
You can't leave them out in the sun, UV will kill them faster than anything else.
