Goodbye Bridgestone Spitfire, Hello Shinko!
« on: May 07, 2023, 08:53:38 PM »
Decided to switch out my dry rotted front, embarrassing that I didn't wear it out first.  Took it for a spin, runs surprisingly good considering the Ural's been getting the bulk of my attention.  I think I must have used superglue to set the bead on the Bridgestone, breaking it was way worse than anything Ive run into before.  Used the zip tie method to mount the Shinko, done that before but not on the Beemer, worked pretty easily.  Still putting the old girl up for sale, at least now I can ride it some more and sell it with a clear conscience.
