The front forks on the K75RT have long travel and a mushy combination of spring rate and damping. The bike had a lot of brake dive and yet it still felt harsh on concrete pavement seams. Handling was not real nice, especially on steep downhill blind curves in the mountains. It didn't like speed changes when in a curve.
Couple years ago I installed a set of Race Tech gold valve cartridge emulators and springs and the difference was amazing. The front end doesn't dive or buck in turns with application of the brakes or throttle and the ride on concrete highways is noticeably smoother. It's a much better bike that inspires a lot more confidence.
