Hi Laitch,

I can make them fit easily enough by making some spacers to make the plug cover sit higher, below is my thinking on the wiring, It looks to me like the coil if fed +12v from the ignition and the ECU is the switch to earth.

Will it work, in theory yes but who knows, i have researched and not seen this done on a brick but definitely on other bikes with traditional coils.

Time will tell.

I have a plan to replace the coils with a modern coil on plug system, looking to use GSXR 600 units, this is really to remove the big old units as they are quite ugly.

Anybody seen this done before ???

Uncharted territory. Look forward to seeing what you come up with and how it works.

BSK Speedworks sell an aftermarket racing engine management system for the K Bikes as they race them. Just take out an extension on your mortgage to buy one.

Gaz, wondering what spoke wheels you are using?

R1150GS rear and R100R front or GS front as well?
