Thanks for posting this, I have been on many of these roads, looking forward to riding some of the others listed.

Also, I am really enjoying your other trip reports and photos.

I would really enjoy getting together with you guys for a ride any time.  However, I work in the casino industry, so getting a weekend off on major holiday weekends is all but impossible.  I have Wed. & Thur. off every week, and with some advance notice I may be able to get some time off on any other weekend, but the vacation slots fill up quickly.    We are trying to get to Death Valley for an overnight trip before it gets too hot, still waiting to get my Beemer back from the shop.

My email is  sbkistler@cox.net   Email me anytime, and we will get something planned.

Hey, crappy dealer:

I'll bet that we can work something out.  Let's see what we can make happen once fall rolls around...

Don't forget the Destination Highways Mapbook series - currently addressing NorCA, WA and BC but they have SoCA and Orygun in the works  8)

I scored a set at the Seattle IMS last Decemember and they have been worth every penny so far  ;)

I kept forgetting about him (especially after the MotoBoxer went away) but now that The Brickus Turkus is alive, I'll have to remember to throw a few things his way  :yes

I have recently begun Geohashing. http://wiki.xkcd.com/geohashing/ (http://wiki.xkcd.com/geohashing/).

It is a great way to find new roads. Sometimes a good way to find awful roads, but almost always new roads. Each day GPS coordinates are randomized using the date and some stock market information. the Randomized GPS coordinates are always within one degree of latitude and longitude of you, so nothing too far unless you want it to be. I've seen stuff I'd never have seen otherwise. It's been great. Give it a try. the site below will tell you where the nearest Geohash site is to you.

Happy trails.

greetings...

pashnit shut down his forum because the lifestyle ridors took it from about the moto and the ride to a lifestyle place where 55 in the left lane in a 70 zone was the norm...
