FS: Original Shock from 91 K75s 21k mi
« on: June 18, 2019, 10:56:26 AM »
Original shock from a 1991 K75s. It had 21,800 miles when I took it off.
It works perfectly fine. It doesn't seem like anything is wrong with it. I simply decided to upgrade since I was swapping out other parts.

Not sure if there is a big market for a used shock, but may work well for an all original brick.

Located in Central NJ. I can also ship it.

Asking $50

In fact, I did upgrade to a shiny new YSS. Why wouldn't I?

It started as a joke kind of thing that went south fast included some creative writing and paint splatter thrown in.
Quality shock.
How's the build?

Ah, gotcha ;)

You mean my k75 build? It went very well. I've surprised myself with how solid the ride is.
The main part is the GSXR1000 front end conversion (I had bent my original forks)
I really should do a write up on it. Quite a few things I've learned than might help others.
It's not COMPLETELY finished. There's things like.. the scrambler seat is being held up by hose clamps, brake light screwed into the plastic fender, etc.

... now I'm wondering if you actually just meant "how's the build quality of the YSS shock?" LOL

No. We have already discussed that with fervent members about their YSS dampers

I meant your K75 build. Good to hear it's almost finished. Its the 100 little details, keep at it you'll get to the end of the list.
