What a great bike! I picked it up for $550 with 99K miles and box full of parts. She hadn't run in about a year and really just needed some TLC and a bit of work here and there. Thanks to all those that have gone before me here on this forum, your knowledge and desire to share your experiences has been absolutely fantastic! I used the "search" function a whole lot and found most everything I needed right here on this forum. Thank you all again. So here's the run-down: replaced all the fuel lines/clamps, sorted out all the wiring and found some relay issues (the horn and load shed were swapped), did all the fluids and lubed everything including the drive shaft which is still in fine condition, found a windshield/lower belly fairing/seat all for $98 (what a steal!), cleaned the crap out of everything, painted the parts that needed painting, replaced all filters and then fresh gas and some techron and away she went! I am really diggin' this bike! Others in my stable include an 04 1200 Sportster, 02 FZ1 and a 98 VTR1000F - but this is my new favorite and gets plenty of attention wherever we go. Flying bricks rule!

Looks like new! The k75s does everything very well, I've had mine since '86 and can't imagine another bike filling so many roles as competently.

I am in approximately the same position and currently muddling through the fuel pump/lines before I find the next problem.

Great looking bike, I have a identical bike which I am half way through restoring. I have had mine since new in 88 your post has given me inspiration to get back into the workshop and get it finished and back on the road.

Congrats on a fine looking machine. I too am 'refreshing' a K75S 1994. The next major work will be to respray the fairing and forks. Love the bike. Lots of fun.
