Inge K. demonstrated that he not only had a profound knowledge of our motos but also had abundant skill in sharing that knowledge with clarity, with patience and often with wry humor in a language that was not native to him. I am grateful to have received the benefit of his contributions and presence here.

RIP

So very sad. RIP Inge. He was a giant in the BMW world and taken so young.

Men jeg kjenner ikke til dødsårsaken. But I don't know the cause of death.
Mvh Best Regards,
Ronny Leere

RIP Inge.

R.I.P. Inge. We are so fortunate to have known him. He was easily one of the world's most knowledgeable K bike owners, a very large part of what I know came from him. We've lost a good friend.

Terrible, terrible news. Condolences to his family and friends, and what a wake-up call for the community. He always had the answer when most everyone else was still scratching their heads. It's a small consolation to know that his knowledge and contributions live on here.
RIP Inge, and many many thanks.

It'll be 2 years in 2 days....how's that for "Tempus fugit". Oddly enough, I always thought Inge was a female (shows you what I know about male Norwegian names). And I thought, wow, this woman is one helluva bike aficionado....K-bikes at that! And I loved his red-eyed furry critter avatar! Inge was so knowledgeable and so generous with that knowledge. A real gift to us. Happy trails, Inge! I hope his family is doing well.
-
Yes, time seems to go by so quickly. 2 years.
Your confusion on names is understandable. Inge is the male name. Inga is the female equivalent name.
-
It'll be 2 years in 2 days...
FYI: From 2018 to 2021 is three years , not two.
-
You're so right! Sorry. I had 2019 in my mind because of JO's initial post in 2019.
-
Thanks guys, I almost forgot how much I would jump a thread that Inge responded to.
Weird how I feel about a guy on the inter web that I was not lucky enough to meet in person.
RIP
