rpossum K1200RS Thread
« on: August 21, 2019, 12:12:24 AM »

My K1200RS has had the main seal and clutch done once... about 17,000 miles ago... but it's starting to feel slippy again lately...

Please tell me more... I'd love to know more about this...
Thank you!

Clutches need to be adjusted regularly or they will slip. Adjust your clutch. Look in here.

Get a vw camper van. It adds more oil to your driveway!

Actually, after my wife backed into my bike last week, nothing adds more oil to the driveway than my bike!

Just finished replacing the crankcase cover... while I was in there, I re-siliconed the valve cover, which had been leaking a little (at least I think that's where the leak was coming from)

I've dug through there and can't find anything about adjusting the clutch, but I did find this elsewhere. Is that the adjustment you are talking about?
Thanks!

I believe the K1200 has a hydraulic clutch.
