SOLD 1993 K1100 LT - $2200
« on: August 24, 2023, 05:12:02 PM »
Here is my 93 K bike. Bought this right at the beginning of COVID and went through the whole bike. Lubricated everything in the drive train, new tires, new fuel system components, new plugs, brake pads, brake lines as required, all fluids, etc. I have another K bike that I am keeping, this one is on to the next owner.

I posted some threads here, just search on my username.

Located in Forest Park, IL just outside of the Chicago city limits.

I have the side bags and rear top case, they are the factory painted bags.

Have a full Google photo album of all the work I performed along with a spreadsheet of replacement parts.

It would be best to email me as I don't check this site very often. paulw at wilburlife dot com

I know you said it's best to email, but didn't see one for you. It says $2200.00 is that correct. You've done a lot of work bringing it back to where it is. Is there any issues with the bike as it is now?  I had a k1100rs when I was a bit younger and now I'm looking at your bike at that price. My name is John Young. My email is

I retrieved the bike today from my friend's business where he has stored it. Giving her a bath and now a replacement batter from my K1200, and the starter relay has stuck. Just need to get a new one, I'm sure I can get the existing relay unstuck so I can get her on the road.

I cleaned her up, the starter relay "unstuck" itself as soon as I took it out, works fine, but I did get a replacement one, wasn't planning on installing it but will include it with the sale.

I updated the photo album with pictures from today and a few short videos. She runs great!

I have just acquired a 92 k75rt that I'm going thru right now. If I saw this prior to getting my K75 I would be interested.
I'm about a couple weeks maybe less of getting mine started. I have not documented my rehab but looking at what you've done I'll be following the same path. If your k hasn't sold when I'm ready maybe we meet halfway between where you are and Savannah where I am and consider a trade. Just dreaming out loud.🤯

K11s and K75s are similar but different. Here's a 95 K75 rehab:

Once I had a Collie pup. Dug a hole and covered him up. Now I sit there by the hour. Waiting for a Collie-flower.

She is sold to the first person who looked at her. $2,000.00. The guy has had a few K bikes in his time. I hope he enjoys the bike!
