It was more like a really large shed, lol.

Hello to all. I'm unfamiliar with K bikes. I have always admired them and fell in love with the k1 at the New York international motorcycle show in, I believe the winter of 91.  Anyway you got to start somewhere and this one presented itself.

This bike has been last registered in 2009.   the owner said he was continuing to start it and keep up with it for 2 or 3 years after that.

It is definitely old it is definitely neglected and it is definitely cool!

What I'm looking for from you folks it is a crash course of where to start. I don't want to try it and potentially hurt anything.

All the best-
Eden

I also put the last seven digits of the VIN number into the VIN decoder and have enclosed the results.

Good for you.  Welcome to MOTOBRICK :welcome
This rescue may take some time and $$s to bring it back to the fun, reliable machine it is.
Beside replacing all fluids and most likely battery and tires you will want to inspect the fuel tank closely.

Lots of good information on all of these topics and more on this site.

Keep us updated on your progress and what you find.  There are many years of Brick wrenching on this forum.

Wellcome,
Nice find! It should not take much to sort it out and then you can sell your other bikes; You will not be needing them!
