Long time brick owner
« on: June 15, 2017, 02:20:32 PM »
I still own my first bike, 87 K75. It has 105k on it. I picked up another one last week. An 88 K75 w 9k. They share the garage with an 05 R12GS.
The new bike has been sitting outside for a while, or do it seems bass in the face and corrosion visible. I rode it 1,500 miles getting it home, runs strong and straight. Hopefully the rest is only cosmetic. Glad I already know most of the quirky features.

Welcome, this is a good group, you should fit right in as a multiple BMW owner.  K75's just keep getting better with age!

Nice looking pair of bikes!

I <3 my K100RS, but every time I see a K75S (or, alternately, an R90S) I contemplate the need for more motorcycles.  :dunno

Welcome!  You must have really wanted the bike, a road trip, and were confident in your wrenching skills and the bike itself.  1,500 miles on a new old bike.  Sounds like a fun adventure.

Welcome! A new brain joins the trust. We need ya, the old brains around here are tired and in need of maintenance.
