K75 GS!!!
« on: May 15, 2017, 11:04:50 PM »
If this is even half a nice as the photos...  The big knobby on the rear, the 21" front...

My budget is so glad this isn't closer.  I'd have to move the wife's car out to the driveway.

Looks really cool but I'd prefer something a bit lighter in the rough stuff'.
Regards Martin.

You are probably right Martin, but that bike pushes every one of my 70's dirt biker buttons.  Fer gosh sake, it has a real high mudguard(ok, it's been cut down) instead of one of those stupid "beaks".  And serrated steel foot pegs!

From my K100 "Badness" experience, that heavy beast does not do well in sand or ruts. Gravel roads of reasonable condition are a joy. But it is heavy, more than a real GS1200.

:nono If you keep going down this track divorce is imminent, and she'll go for half your brick collection. And you know what that means a really big demolition saw? :yow   :musicboohoo: So take your meds and go take one of your still intact trio for a nice long ride. You could go up a dirt road  or down it don't matter. And imagine your on a Brick scrambler with the right meds this would be possible.
Regards a concerned Martin.

I'm pretty safe right now.  No time for a fly and ride.
