A close view of my avatar shows this is the only luggage bit I lack...sort of a tourers "hat trick" I'd like to own all three....

I pm'd reverendmark from whom I've dealt once who was parting out a similar bike.

Anyone have these bits?  Other sources?

What do you mean by "panniers for saddlebags"? I'm only on my second cup of coffee.

hmmm up since 2am I might need coffee before I type another word....Laitch to the left  Jonnie to the right.... bmp

I'd like to find the soft bag inserts Ive seen for my saddlebags.  Studying the Max fiche...I dont think mine came withem..

Are those Panniers?  french for a basket I believe..  Must have been an add on later models .. My confusion me thinks...

So a pillion is  seat back of some sort.  My Corbin backrest/pillion is removeable.

So I have a mount bracket on top behind the pillion backrest, but studying Max fiche...the bracket for the 22L is different. I thought thiis box would work on it.. gotta dig further..  I dont have a pick of the mount I have installed...

btw Ive had a hard time finding suitable elastic in black for the interior of my saddlebags, Walmart stocks it here but only in white. the black they stock is too wide.  other source? I see max lists it as a 330mm rubber band for $11.33

so my mount is described on the fiche as a Luggage grid.  on the linked set case holder diagram:

http://www.bmwmcchattanooga.com/products/BMW-Motorcycles/K75/Luggage-grid/1050962/52532300052.html

and the fiche shows a top case 35l

http://www.bmwmcchattanooga.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=479226&ukey_product=1041539

anyway I have listed the wrong case originally .. I believe.  whats best?

So...searching for a 35...l top case.  Anybody got a shiny nice one for my brick?

First

pil·lion
ˈpilyən/
noun
a seat for a passenger behind a motorcyclist. historical a woman's light saddle. historical a cushion attached to the back of a saddle for an additional passenger.

It is not the backrest.

The inner bags were an option.  I doubt many bought as not cheap from BMW in the day.

There are replacements sold from some business in the NW.  I will look if I have the reference but google is your friend.

To mount the 22l box you need. The BMW rack that bolts onto the tail of the bike and then a metal plate that slides under that rack that the 22l clamps onto with the quick release toggle.

I think these liner bags are what you are looking for

Those are new from RKA but I have seen others on fleabay as well.

Please post a bigger picture of your bike because from what I can see you do not have the 35l top case mount on there.

Yup and yup.

looks like I have the mount installed for the 35l version of the top case so I'll shop that thanks... As for the panniers I think I recall an ad but if you know a source, please post..

maybe there are soft bags of similar size I'll adapt for the utility of whipping out an overnightt kit or whatever.  I have a lunchbox sized zipper bag maybe a couple of those will do.  Taking the case into the hotel works ok too...

Germans nowadays use the word top case too...

If you want to have a bigger top case, then simply replace the original carrier with one of two Givi makes:

Then you can either use it to install any of the Givi Monokey top cases - or if you remove Givi's base plate (which I did - and sold it on eBay, recovering a large part of costs), install any other aftermarket top case. I installed 40 litres Moto-Detail by Louis, similar to this one:

The links for ordering (if you do a little research, Givi's carrier is available on eBay too):

Since we are now recommending hideous top case options, I will recommend a somewhat less hideous option than the Givi: Siebenrock TK50. It fits two full face helmets, fits the OEM luggage rack, and sits much lower than any of the Givi options: http://shop.siebenrock.com/Luggage/Topcase/Topcase-TK50-standard-black::36263.html

I have been using this top case for a few weeks now and have been very happy with it.
