This K1300S will be my next BMW, yet to ride one but it's known to be a lot faster than my K1200RS.

Probably not.  Back seat a little cramped anr no amenities.  K1300Gt is the one for two up touring.

It is, but the extra 50hp is kind of pointless.   Roll on the throttle in first gear and you are at reckless driving arrest speeds before you even get near the redline.
